Our Story

Reefline Aquatics started the same way most reef tanks do: with a fish, a few frags, and a problem we couldn't ignore.

After five years in the hobby, we kept running into the same frustration. You'd find a coral online that looked incredible in the listing photo: vivid colors, healthy polyp extension, exactly what you wanted for your tank. You'd pay premium prices, wait anxiously for the overnight box, and open it to find something that barely resembled what you ordered. Washed out colors. Misrepresented size. No context for what you were actually getting.

We got tired of it. So we built something different.

Reefline Aquatics is a Texas-based coral business run by hobbyists who reef because we love it, not because it's a transaction. Every coral we sell goes through a minimum 21-day quarantine before it ever reaches a listing. Every photo is taken in our own facility under reef lighting, sized and documented before it ships. What you see is exactly what ships: no artificial color enhancements, no tricks, no surprises.

How we photograph our corals

Reef lighting is heavily blue-spectrum by design: great for coral health, terrible for accurate photography. We shoot every coral using a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra in RAW format with an orange filter to counteract the blue light. In post-processing we adjust only white balance and contrast to restore the coral's true appearance under natural light. We never manipulate color, saturation, or hue. What you see in our photos is as close to real life as photography allows.
