💳 Refund Policy — Reefline Aquatics

Overview

Because we sell live animals, our refund policy reflects the unique nature of live coral sales. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.


Live Coral — All Sales Final

All live coral sales are final. We do not accept returns on live animals under any circumstances.

This applies to:

  • Shipped orders
  • Local pickup orders
  • Local delivery orders

Live coral is a living animal subject to natural variation in color, size, and growth form. These natural characteristics are not grounds for return or refund.


Exceptions — Store Credit

Store credit will be issued in the following situations:

Shipped Orders

  • Coral confirmed deceased on arrival (DOA) per our Live Arrival Policy
  • Wrong item shipped

Local Pickup & Delivery

  • Wrong item delivered or made available at pickup, provided the discrepancy is identified and reported at the time of handoff before the coral is accepted

Important:

  • Store credit covers the purchase price of the affected coral only
  • Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable
  • All claims must be submitted to support@reeflineaquatics.com within 4 hours of delivery or pickup
  • Claims must include clear photos taken under white or natural light

Non-Live Items

For non-live items such as frag plugs or accessories:

  • Unopened items in original condition may be returned within 14 days of delivery
  • Full refund issued to original payment method upon receipt and inspection
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Items damaged due to misuse or improper handling are not eligible for return

Order Cancellations

Before Shipment

  • Orders cancelled before shipment preparation begins will receive a full refund to the original payment method
  • Contact us immediately at support@reeflineaquatics.com if you need to cancel

After Shipment

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped
  • Live coral cannot be returned to sender

Local Pickup & Delivery

  • Orders cancelled more than 24 hours before scheduled pickup or delivery will receive a full refund
  • Orders cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled pickup or delivery will receive store credit only

Store Credit

  • Store credit never expires
  • Applicable to any future purchase at Reefline Aquatics
  • Not redeemable for cash
